As the stage manager for She Loves Me, I was responsible for coordinating and calling all show cues, including lighting, sound, fly rail, actor, and orchestra cues, ensuring a seamless and cohesive performance. This being my first time calling a musical, I had a steep learning curve in mastering the technical aspects of calling a musical. By collaborating closely with the music director and accompanist, I was able to fine-tune my timing and execute cues with precision. Additionally, I served as a mentor to my assistant stage managers, providing clear guidance and training so they could effectively assist backstage and eventually take on leadership roles during the production. Through teamwork and consistent communication, we created a smooth and well-organized environment for both cast and crew, ensuring each performance ran smoothly.
