In my role in Our Town, I was responsible for calling all show cues, including lighting, sound, fly rail, and actor cues, ensuring a smooth and cohesive performance. I collaborated closely with the devised movement directors, learning new devised movement vocabulary and exercises to guide actors in creating dynamic physical storytelling. I also documented and adapted video blocking, making adjustments as necessary for changes in blocking. During technical rehearsals, I led and collaborated with the team through technical elements and facilitated paper tech via Zoom due to snow, ensuring efficient communication across departments. Additionally, with my stage management team, we managed backstage logistics, overseeing the backstage mapping of props, costumes, and scenic pieces. Throughout the production process, I prioritized building trust and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment within the team, ensuring effective teamwork and a unified creative vision.
